What is IGU.

IGU is the world’s biggest and most relevant natural gas organization and speaks for the sector’s development movements, implementation of new technologies and the discontinuation of polluting energies. By means of this organization, natural gas shall fulfill its role of being a pathway to renewable energies, such as biomethane. The IGU meeting in Florianópolis shall gather around 50 professionals from 30 different countries who will, in four days of work, debate matters of the natural gas market. The discussion includes the linkage of the sector aiming to enhance the serving system and worldly the implementation of this input, seeking to reduce the use of polluting energies. With a broad market under development, Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso do Sul and the southern region of Brazil profit from the realization of this event in the capital of the first State, when it will be possible to disclosure the importance of natural gas for the future of cities.
